This is exactly what we expected from this product, and it performed exactly as we needed it to. How can you ask for anything better than meeting expectations? The build quality is high, the materials are good construction, and the goose-neck is bendable without being flimsy.

The clamp and screw are metal with the pad and turn knob being a nice soft plastic (for the table/cabinet mount), and the springy clamp for the iPad held it in place perfectly without much wiggle when pushed to the back of the clamp.

We used it for a photo-booth for our wedding and affixed it to the top of a mobile wall. We ran the lightning cable up and around the goose-neck, and everything was smooth and un-noticeably in the right place! It has since been used as a desk attachment in my office.

I would recommend for anyone wanting to use their iPad say, in a kitchen, at a desk....attached to the bathroom sink? Get creative, it can handle it!

Finally, it is packaged simply, but not so simple to get back into that box once opened. You get the idea for the limitations of bend-ability when you start trying to bend it...I have not taken it to the breaking point, and do not desire to. I believe this should last me for many years, and many iPads!
