I use this with my Samsung Galaxy S3 in my otter box case, and it fits perfectly, no need to remove the case at all. Mounting on the windshield and dash was very easy. But one of the best things was the customer service. Overall I'm happy with the product. Make sure when using this mount that you turn the locking ring on the base all the way until you feel it click, this locks the base, I had one or two mishaps because I forgot to turn the locking ring till it clicked.
