Most photo booth apps are made for personal use, not for hundreds of photo-lovin' guests. Find an app that is designed to run for hours at live events and is packed with premium features like customizable graphics, online galleries, image filters, Live Feed, and more. There are many apps that makes setting up a DIY photo booth fun and easy.1. Acquire Photo Booth App
2. Install the iPad
If you expect more than 100 people at your event, we recommend exploring a more professional Photo Booth setup.
But if you are on a DIY budget, we have the perfect solution! Like the iShot Pro DIY Photo Booth Setup, which has a tripod stand, clamp accessory, iPad holder and LED light, pretty much everything you'll need except for the batteries for the LED light. We offer two models, (listed below) one for 7-11" iPads and Tablets, and one for 8-13" iPads and Tablets. Be sur eto choose the correct model for your size iPad or Tablet. The Clamp accessory allows you to attach the iPad holder to the light stand (can ablso be mounted pretty much anywhere, to a different tripod, to a truss rod or rail). Then, on the very top of the tripod stand, you will mount the battery-powered LED light. The iPad holder already comes with a swivel ball head between the iPad Holder and the light stand which provides flexibility to make adjustments on the fly.
If you need the setup very tall, we recommend an extra tall light stand because they have a sturdier and thicker riser, so your setup is less likely to wobble when the iPad is touched. Given the weight of the iPad and the LED light with batteries in it, mounted at the very top of the stand. Shorter light stands work okay, as we sell a ton of the DIY Photo Booth kits with the shorter light stands. Though, these may not have a riser that is thick enough to support the iPad Holder and the LED light when the set it up is needed very tall. Contact us for pricing on extra tall stands.
